Cellist Amit Peled Appointed New Music Director of CityMusic Cleveland

The CityMusic Cleveland Chamber Orchestra has announced the appointment of Israeli-American cellist Amit Peled as its new Music Director

The CityMusic Cleveland Chamber Orchestra in Cleveland, Ohio, United States has this week announced the appointment of Israeli-American cellist Amit Peled as its new Music Director - effective from the commencement of the 2019-2020 season.

He will succeed composer Avner Dorman in the role - who has directed the ensemble since 2013.

“I am deeply honored and excited to be named the next music director of CityMusic ... I can’t wait to meet as many people as possible from the community and dive into the symphonic repertoire with my fellow musicians in the orchestra,” Amit has this week said.
