It has been announced today that the 2020 Audi Summer Concerts, in Ingoltstadt, Germany will this year partner with The Violin Channel for a smaller scale virtual festival - to be streamed from the 2nd to the 5th of July.
Celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year, the open air concerts, hosted and supported by the Audi luxury car company, will feature four concerts streamed live from the Audi Museum and Industrial Park in Germany on Audi’s Media TV and YouTube channel and www.theviolinchannel.com.
This year’s program entitled ‘Together for Music’ and curated by Artistic Director Lisa Batiashvili, will feature performances by Lisa Batiashvili, the Budapest Festival Orchestra under Iván Fischer, the Camerata Salzburg with François Leleux and Maximilian Hornung - and the Quatuor Ébène.
“I am especially pleased that, with this anniversary edition of the Audi Sommerkonzerte, we can not only reach out online to music lovers all over the world but also, in so far as the coronavirus permits, can play in direct contact to small audiences," Lisa Batiashvili has said.
