The 2020 Osaka International Chamber Music Competition, scheduled to take place in May 2020, has been postponed – due to the growing uncertainty of the COVID-19 virus
It has been announced today that the 2020 Osaka International Chamber Music Competition, scheduled to take place in May 2020, in Osaka, Japan, has been postponed – due to the growing uncertainty of the COVID-19 virus.
The competition will now take place from the 15th to the 23rd of May, 2021 – and the candidates who were scheduled for the 2020 festival will be invited back for the 2021 festival.
The 2021 competition jury will comprise: Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi (Chairman), Martin Beaver, Weigang Li, Kazuki Sawa, Monika Henschel, Mai Motobuchi, Seppo Kimanen, Vincent Coq, Eckart Heiligers and Shigeo Neriki.
