Adelaide Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster To Step Down
The Adelaide Symphony has announced that long-serving Concertmaster, Natsuko Yoshimoto will step down from the ensemble
The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, in Adelaide, Australia has this week announced that long-serving Concertmaster, Natsuko Yoshimoto will step down from the ensemble – effective from October 2020.
A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, Natsuko has led the orchestra since 2009.
“Over the past 10 years, the ASO has demonstrated great artistic vitality and quality and Natsuko Yoshimoto has played a significant role in our success ..." Adelaide Symphony Managing Director, Vincent Ciccarello has this week said.
“We wish her every success and happiness as she goes on to this next phase of her stellar career ... she’ll be sorely missed," he has said.
“It has been an extraordinary honour to lead the ASO as Concertmaster and I am grateful for the experience and the musical journey I have undertaken ..." Natsuko has this week said.
"I have been privileged to have played under some of the world’s leading conductors and I look back on my career with the ASO with great affection ... I have enjoyed every minute of it," she has said.
