The antique Vuillaume label violin was stolen on August 6, 2024, from the Chiesina Uzzanese Lucca province in Italy.
The stolen violin is an antique German violin with a Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume label. The back of the instrument is in two pieces of flamed maple, and many cracks on the back of the violin have been repaired.
The length of the instrument measures around 36.4 centimeters. Images of the violin can be viewed below.
