The New World Symphony in Miami Beach, Florida, United States has this week announced the appointment of American conductor and trumpeter Chad Goodman as its new Conducting Fellow.

A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, Chad will hold the position for the 2019-2020 concert season – working directly alongside the orchestra’s Artistic Director and Founder, Maestro Michael Tilson Thomas.

Established in 1987, the New World Symphony serves as a training ensemble for young musicians in their 20s – in preparation for professional careers in orchestras and ensembles.
