Applications are now open for the 2020 China international Violin Competition - to be held in Beijing, China from the 1st to the 11th of May, 2020.
Hosted by the China Conservatory of Music and the Global Music Education League, the 2020 1st prize winner will receive an unprecedented US $150,000.
2nd and 3rd prize winners will be awarded USD $75,000 and USD $30,000, respectively.
The semi-final round of the competition will be performed with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra - under the direction of Music Director, Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

The 2020 jury will comprise: Bin Huang (Chairman), Li-guang Wang, Giovanni Angeleri, Martin Beaver, Sergej Krylov, Oleh Krysa, Lucie Robert, Victor Tretiakov and Almita Vamos.
