1 MIN READ
American composer Stephen Paulus has passed away from medical complications, following a stroke - aged just 65.
During this 40 year output, Mr Paulus composed hundreds of works – including more than 60 orchestral scores, 10 operas and 150 choral pieces.
He was the co-founder of the American Composers Forum, the largest composers' services organisation in the US - and served periods as Composer-in-Residence with the Atlanta, Minnesota, Tucson and Annapolis Symphony Orchestras.
He suffered a major stroke in July 2013 and sadly never recovered.
Our condolences are with his family, friends, students and colleagues.
