Concert Artists Guild Announces Virtual 2022 Victor Elmaleh Competition
The annual competition will be held virtually for the second year, with applications due January 21, 2022
The Concert Artists Guild announced that its annual Victor Elmaleh Competition will be virtual in 2022.
The Victor Elmaleh Competition aims to "support the highest level of musician by recognizing their full potential in an ever-changing world."
Open to all instruments, voice, and chamber ensembles, the grand prize winner will receive joint international management (for the Americas and Europe) with Concert Artists Guild (CAG) and Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT). The prize also includes performances at both Merkin Hall in New York and Wigmore Hall in London, and participation in CAG 360.
This year's jury comprises Jenny Bilfield, Phillippa Cole, Anthony Roth Costanzo, Brandon Patrick George, Jamie Martín, Tavia Nyong’o, Asadour Santourian, Kathy Schuman, Tanya Bannister, Chris Williams, Tim Mar, and Alasdair Tait.
Applications open on November 8, 2021.

Previous CAG first prize winners include the Pacifica Quartet, violinists Jennifer Koh and Joseph Lin, violist Jordan Bak, and VC Artists Inmo Yang, Yoojing Jang, Geneva Lewis, and the Verona Quartet.
