British conductor Daniel Harding has been appointed as the new Artistic Director of the Anima Mundi Festival in Pisa, Italy

It has been announced this week that British conductor Daniel Harding has been appointed as the new Artistic Director of the Anima Mundi Festival in Pisa, Italy.

The 42-year-old will succeed Sir John Eliot Gardiner – who has served the leadership role for the past 12 seasons.

Daniel currently serves as Conductor Laureate of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and as Music Director of the Swedish Radio Symphony.
