Dallas Symphony Orchestra Veteran, Violinist Arkady Fomin has Passed Away

Latvian-born Dallas Symphony Orchestra violinist Arkady Fomin has died – aged 68.

Mr Arkady served as Principal Violinist with the Latvian State Philharmonic - before joining the Dallas Symphony in 1975.

“Rest in peace, dear Arkady,” Dallas Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Alexander Kerr has posted on facebook, “... you were an amazing person; always so positive, so friendly and so generous. We will miss your incredible talent and your wonderful smile…”

Our condolences are with Mr Fomin's family, friends, colleagues and students.
