The Denmark-based Esbjerg Ensemble has today launched a public appeal for petition signatures against a local government’s decision to withdraw all funding.
The ensemble, comprising ten full-time musicians, was founded in 1967 as an initiative of the Danish Ministry of Culture – as Denmark’s first professional chamber group.
