D’Addario Orchestral Strings has this week announced the signing of German violin virtuoso Julia Fischer to their artist roster.
Julia has played on D’Addario Kaplan Amo heavy tension violin strings since 2015, she has indicated.

A former 1st prize winner at the Menuhin and Eurovision Competitions, Julia performs regularly with the world’s eminent conductors and orchestras – including recent solo engagements with the Vienna Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra and the Bavarian State Orchestra.
She serves a coveted Professorship at the Munich Academy of Music and was last month awarded a ‘Federal Cross’ Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany – for her work as a cultural ambassador for the country.
