The string category Finalists have been announced at the 2019 46th Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition – in South Bend, Indiana, United States.

The 2019 Senior Division Strings/Piano Finalists are:

• Abeo Quartet
• Dior Quartet
• Merz Trio

The 2019 Junior Division Strings/Piano Finalists are:

• Fervida Trio
• Éclatante String Quartet
• Meraki Quartet

Regarded as the United States’ largest chamber music competition, the Grand Prize winning ensemble will receive USD $13,500 – plus a number of important domestic and international performance opportunities.

This year’s Senior String division jury comprises: violinist Daniel Phillips, violist Sabina Thatcher, cellist Michael Reynolds and pianist Marian Hahn.

This year’s Junior String division jury comprises: violinist Rebecca Fischer, cellist Jeffrey Ziegler and pianist Liza Stepanova.
