The most important highlight has to be the Wieniawski Competition! I watched all four stages on YouTube, as well as attended one day of the 1st round and one evening of the final stage in person – and was absolutely mesmerized by the interpretation of Shostakovitch concerto given to us by Bomsori Kim. I also really rooted for Celina Kotz and Robert Laguniak, they were amazing in all 3 stages they took part in (Robert despite his condition). The excitement I experienced last fall thanks to the Competition – unforgettable!
