German Music Competition Announces 2022 Winners
Violinist Anne Luisa Kramb is among the three soloists to win this year's competition in Bonn, Germany
German Music Competition (Deutscher Musikwettbewerb - DMW) chose clarinetist Lyuta Kobayashi, organist Aurel Dawidiuk, and violinist Anne Luisa Kramb as their 2022 solo winners.
German violinist Anne Luisa Kramb is currently studying in the violin class of Prof. Antje Weithaas at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. She previously studied at the Kronberg Academy and the Würzburg University of Music.
In 2016, Anne Luisa was a prize winner at the International Menuhin Competition and the first prize winner at the International Spohr Competition in Weimar, where she also won two special prizes. Additional accolades include the first prize at the Telemann Competition, Mendelssohn Competition, Bacewicz Competition, and the Manhattan Music Competition.
She has performed with the Ukrainian State Orchestra, MDR Symphony Orchestra, Sopot Chamber Philharmonic, Göttingen Symphony Orchestra, Staatskapelle Weimar —and at international festivals such as the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival, Rheingau Music Festival, Weilburg Palace Concerts, and the 'Festiwal Emanacje' Kraków.
Since 2017, she has also been a regular guest of the Gidon Kremer's Kremerata Baltica.
