In this episode, Augustin performs Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson's "Louisiana Blues Strut: A Cakewalk."

Bi-racial composer and conductor Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson studied at Manhattan School of Music and taught at Brooklyn College. He wrote for multiple genres including jazz, dance, pop, film, television, and classical music — and lived from 1932 to 2004.
