Handel and Haydn Society Names Resident Conductor

Dr. Anthony Trecek-King will be the new resident conductor of Boston's Handel and Haydn Society Chorus

Dr. Trecek-King is the former artistic director of the Boston Children’s Chorus and is known for his role as host and coach for the Emmy-nominated television series "Sing That Thing."

He also conducts a Unitus Ensemble, an ensemble focused on immersive, social-justice-oriented concerts.

"Anthony brings us a powerful combination of deep expertise and passion for his choral conducting work," said David Snead, president and CEO of the Handel and Haydn Society. "We are honored to have him share his decades of experience with H+H."
