The grandson of illustrious virtuoso Viktor Pikayzen, Igor is a former prize winner at the Tadeusz Wroński, Kloster-Schontal and Lipizer International Violin Competitios – and was the recipient of the highly prestigious 2010 “Horizon Artist” Award – previously awarded to such luminaries as John Corigliano, Fritz Reiner and Paul Newman

A graduate of The Juilliard School and Yale School of Music, his recent debuts include performances with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Moscow Radio Symphony, Bucharest Philharmonic, Istanbul Philharmonic, Taiwan Chamber Orchestra and the Milano Chamber Orchestra
