The Best Performance of a Bach Work prize, in the opening round, was awarded to 3rd prize winner, VC Young Artist Luke Hsu.
The Best Three Performances of a Paganini Caprice or Milstein’s Paganiniana prizes were awarded to: 1st prize winner, VC Young Artist Richard Lin, Elly Suh and Risa Hokamura.
The Best Performance of an Encore Work prize, in the opening round, was awarded to semi-finalist Elly Suh.
The Best Performance of a Mozart Sonata, in the opening round, was awarded to VC Young Artist Luke Hsu – and pianist Chih-Yi Chen.
The Best Performance of a Beethoven Sonata, in the Semi-Final, stage was awarded to 4th prize winner Anna Lee – and pianist Chih-Yi Chen.
The Best Performance of William Bolcom’s Suite No. 3 for Solo Violin, this year’s newly commissioned set work in the Semi-Final round, was awarded to semi-finalist Stephen Kim.
The Best Performance of a Ysaÿe Sonata was awarded to 6th prize winner Shannon Lee.
The Best Performance of a Sonata Other than Beethoven was awarded to Anna Lee – and pianist Chih-Yi Chen.
The Best Performance of a Kreisler Encore prize was awarded to VC Young Artist Richard Lin.
The Best Performance of a Classical Concerto prize was awarded to Anna Lee.
The Best Performance of a Concerto in the Finals prize was awarded to 1st prize winner, VC Young Artist Richard Lin.
