Annual J & A Beare Fine Violin Bow Prize Recipient Announced

J & A Beare has announced 23 year old British violinist Cristian Grajner de Sa as the recipient of the 2018 annual 'J & A Beare Bow Prize'

J & A Beare has this week announced 23 year old British violinist Cristian Grajner de Sa as the recipient of the 2018 annual ‘J & A Beare Bow Prize’.

Awarded annually since 1912 by the London-based fine instrument dealer to the most promising graduating string student from the Royal Academy of Music, Cristian will receive an engraved J & A Beare violin bow – made by acclaimed British bow-maker Derek Wilson

 

A current post graduate student of Pierre Amoyal at the Salzburg Mozarteum, Cristian is a former 1st prize winner at Spain’s Groba International Violin Competition – and is a former strings finalist in the BBC ‘Young Musician of the Year’ awards.
