The Kronberg Academy, in Germany has today announced the appointment of violinist Antje Weithaas, violist Tabea Zimmermann and cellist Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt to their teaching faculty - effective from October 2017.

The prestigious cultural institution, accepts just 12 highly gifted international young string soloists per year - with its current intake including VC Artists William Hagen, Stephen Waarts, Timothy Ridout, Lara Boschkor, Pablo Ferrandez, Jonathan Roozeman and Kian Soltani.
Weithaas, Zimmermann and Schmidt will join the school’s current teaching faculty members Ana Chumachenco, Mihaela Martin, Christian Tetzlaff, Nobuko Imai and Frans Helmerson.
