3 VC Artists to Join Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society Roster
The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center has announced the appointment of five new young instrumentalists to their prestigious ‘Bowers Program’ roster
The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, in New York City, has today announced the appointment of five new young instrumentalists to their prestigious ‘Bowers Program’ roster.
The five additions to the roster are:
- Violinist VC Artist Richard Lin
- Violinist VC Artist Stella Chen
- Violist VC Artist Timothy Ridout
- Violinist James Thompson
- Cellist Sihao He
Formerly known as ‘CMS Two’, the three-year residency offers unparalleled professional opportunities – including New York concert seasons, national and international residencies and tour appearances, educational activities, recordings and international broadcasts.
“After weeks of careful consideration following a set of auditions - made all the more challenging by the uniformly high level of applicants - we have finally settled on five new members to join The Bowers Program …” Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center Artistic Directors David Finckel and Wu Han have today said.
“As concerts and performances are on hold worldwide during these challenging days, it is inspiring to look to the future and the contribution that these young artists will make to chamber music and all our lives ...” they have said.
Current members of the ‘Bowers Program’ roster include: VC Artists Francisco Fullana, Alexi Kenney and Angelo Xiang Yu.
