VERY SAD NEWS | Memphis Symphony Assistant Principal Violist has Died Following a Car Accident

The Memphis Symphony Orchestra has today announced the sad passing of their Assistant Principal violist, Marshall Fine from serious injuries sustained in a car accident last week – aged 58.
The son of long time Boston Symphony Orchestra Principal violist Burton Fine, Mr Fine had served with the orchestra since 1980 and was also an accomplished composer - having published over 220 works, including 7 viola sonatas and 2 viola concertos.
Our condolences are with Mr Fine's family, colleagues and students.
