The opening round candidates have been announced at the 2018 Mirecourt International Violin Competition
The 36 opening round candidates have been announced at the 2018 Mirecourt International Violin Competition - to be held in Mirecourt, France from the 10th to the 16th of November.

Open to international violinists aged 26 years and younger, the 1st prize winner will receive €5,000 – plus a number of important performance opportunities.
The 2018 jury comprises: Krzystof Wegrzyn (Chairman) Harald Herzl, Alissa Margulis, Petru Munteanu, Marianne Piketty, Weidong Tong and Ulf Wallin.
