NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio Welcomes MondoMusica ’14 to New York

With this year’s MondMusica New York international string trade fair just hours away from show time, New York City Major Bill de Blasio has officially welcomed the international string community to the city.

“It is with great pleasure that I welcome everyone gathered for the second annual International Exhibition MondoMusica,” Mayor de Blasio has said, “New York City is proud to host this assembly of some of the world’s finest violin and string instrument makers, musicians and merchants …. [and] please accept my best wishes for a terrific exhibition and continued success.”

MondoMusica New York will be held at 82Mercer, in Manhattan from April 10-12th and is set to host exhibitors, luthiers, manufactures, instrument dealers and musicians from all around the world – including seminars by renowned instrument and bow makers Sam Zygmuntowicz and Isaac Salchow and Performing Arts Medicine physicians Dr John Chong and Dr Shmuel Tatz.
