Thomastik-Infeld just announced the release of the PETER INFELD® for cello (NO.PI400) string set!
These strings are dedicated to Peter Infeld, who ran the Thomastik-Infeld company for more than four decades. Both Peter Infeld and the strings in this line have always been committed to the same mission: to help artists shine in many different ways, either as high-level professionals or as experienced amateurs.
With a centered tonal core, the strings ensure remarkable projection and easy-to-control sound colors.
They allow the sound to shine all the way to the farthest corners of any concert hall with a reliable, balanced, and powerful sound, especially in the mid frequencies.
The strings require minimal effort to be played and the sound colors stay controllable at all times.
The PETER INFELD® (NO.PI400) cello string set contains 4 strings in medium tension:
- A-string NO.PI41, made out of a carbon steel core with a multialloy outer material.
- D-string NO.PI42, made out of a carbon steel core with multialloy outer material.
- G-string NO.PI43, made out of a spiral rope core with tungsten/chrome outer material.
- C-string NO.PI44, made out of a spiral rope core with tungsten/chrome outer material.
