Erato Records has this month announced the release of French violin virtuoso Renaud Capuçon's new album: Bach Sonatas.

Recorded with pianist David Fray, the disc features Bach's Violin and Keyboard Sonatas No. 5 in F Minor, No. 3 in E, No. 4 in C Minor - and No. 6 in G.

''My inspiration for disc was meeting pianist David Fray ... and our desire to play and record these incredible pieces together ..." Renaud has told The Violin Channel.

"I have always been such an admirer of Bach ... and my only wish with this CD is that the public allows themselves be completely surrounded by the purity of this incredible music," he has said.
