The Sitkovetsky Trio comprises violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky, pianist Wu Qian, and cellist Isang Enders

Formed in 2007, the ensemble is the first prize-winner of the International Commerzbank Chamber Music Award and recipient of the NORDMETALL Chamber Music Award at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival.

They have performed in venues such as the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Frankfurt Alte Oper, Palais des Beaux Arts, Musée du Louvre, l’Auditori Barcelona, Wigmore Hall, and Lincoln Center.

“The [Sitkovetsky Trio]’s thoughtful and committed approach to music has established them as the leading piano trio of the present day over the past 15 years,” wrote Impresariat Simmenauer on their social media.

Joining artists such as Quatuor Ébène, Schumann Quartett, Gidon Kremer, and Alisa Weilerstein on Impresariat Simmenauer’s roster, the Sitkovetsky Trio is the first piano trio to be represented by the agency since its founding in 1988.

“We are extremely excited to be joining the Impresariat Simmenauer Agency for general management,” said Sitkovetsky in a press release.

“It is an honor for us to work with what is widely considered as one of the most prestigious agencies in the world,” he continued. “We look forward to working together as we look towards our 15th Anniversary and beyond.”
