Madrid’s Spanish National Orchestra Announce New Concertmaster

The Spanish National Orchestra, in Madrid, Spain has today announced the appointment of 32 year old violinist Gjorgi Dimchevski as their new Concertmaster.

A graduate of the Toulouse Conservatory and the Cologne University of Music, where he studied with Blagoja Dimcevsky and Viktor Tretyakov, Gjorgi is a former 1st prize winner at the Belgrade and Perpignan International Violin Competitions.

He has served as Associate Concertmaster of the OCV Palau de Les Arts Orchestra in Valencia since 2007 – and in 2011 was invited to perform as Guest Concertmaster with the Israel Philharmonic, under Maestro Zubin Mehta.
