The Music School of Delaware — President and CEO

Based in Wilmington, Delaware, it's the nation's only statewide accredited community music school

Founded in 1924, The Music School of Delaware serves communities in Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.

The school is seeking a new President and CEO, in association with the Aspen Leadership Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for all of the school's day-to-day operations and will report to its Board of Directors to ensure that all members of the wider community have access to high-quality music education.

The President and CEO will be responsible for managing the school's ninety staff members and will support them in putting on more than 120 public performances per year. In addition, they will foster the school's community outlook, ensuring that all feel welcome and heard and see themselves and their culture represented in the School's work.

Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree, and should have at least five years' experience managing a sizeable staff — with evidence that they have developed their previous institution.

The salary for this position will be between $115,000 and $125,000.
