The Notos Piano Quartet has firmly established itself as one of the most celebrated, young, chamber ensembles to emerge internationally in recent years - praised for its 'virtuosic brilliance', 'passion', 'sensitivity' and 'mature interpretive powers'.
Comprising violinist Sindri Lederer, violist Andrea Burger, cellist Philip Graham and pianist Antonia Köster, the German-based quartet is a former major prize winner at London's 'Parkhouse Award', Holland's 'Charles-Hennen-Concours', the Premio Vottorio Gui and the Osaka International Chamber Music Competition - and was recently awarded 1st prize at the 2016 Schoenfeld International String Competition, in Harbin, China.
The ensemble is a former recipient of the Waverley Chamber Music Fellowship at the Royal Northern College of Music - and currently serves as the Artistic Director of the Notos Chamber Music Academy.
Its recent debuts include performances at London's Wigmore Hall, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam - and festival appearances at Schwetzingen, Rheingau, Würzberg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Usedom.
