VC LIVE | Viano Quartet at Banff String Quartet Festival

Tune on September 21 at 6 PM (ET) for an exciting concert featuring the talented young ensemble performing in Banff, Canada

Led by Director of the Banff International String Quartet Competition Barry Shiffman, the Banff International String Quartet Festival is a three-day festival showcasing today's exquisite talent in classical music.

In 2017, the Banff International String Quartet Festival commenced in non-competition years and features competition alumni alongside special guests.

This concert features VC Young Artist Viano Quartet, which comprises violinists Hao Zhou and Lucy Wang, violist Aiden Kane and cellist Tate Zawadiuk. The ensemble is a former major prize winner at the Osaka, Wigmore Hall, Yellow Springs, and Fischoff International Chamber Music Competitions. In September of 2019, they were awarded 1st prize at the prestigious Banff International String Quartet Competition.
