Vienna Symphony Announces Appointment of New Concertmaster

The Vienna Symphony has announced the appointment of Slovakian violinist, Dalibor Karvay as its new Concertmaster

The Vienna Symphony has this week announced the appointment of 34-year-old Slovakian violinist, Dalibor Karvay as its new Concertmaster – effective immediately.

A graduate of the Vienna Conservatoire, where he studied with Boris Kuschnir, Dalibor is a former 1st prize winner at the Tibor Varga International Violn Competition – and the Eurovision Young Musician of the Year ‘Grand Prix’.

He currently serves a Professorship on faculty at the Vienna University of Music.
