Poland’s Poznan Philharmonic Announces Midori As New Artist-in-Residence

The Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra, in Poznan, Poland has this week announced Japanese violinist, Midori as its new Artistin-Residence for the 2019-2020 season.

The 47-year-old violin virtuoso will succeed VC Artist Bomsori Kim and Norwegian soloist Henning Kraggerud in the role – who served as this year’s Soloists-in-Residence and Artists-in-Residence.

Midori’s first concert of the residency will be on the 18th of October – performing Prokofiev’s 1st Violin Concerto with the ensemble.
