Today is French violinist and pedagogue Pierre Amoyal’s 71st birthday!

Today is French violinist and pedagogue Pierre Amoyal’s 71st birthday!

A student of Jascha Heifetz, Mr Amoyal is a former prize winner at the Paganini and Enescu International Violin Competitions.

He currently holds a distinguished teaching Professorship at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg - and serves on the jury of a number of prominent international competitions.

His famed students include VC Artist Fedor Rudin and Luke Hsu.
