Today is American violinist Rachel Barton Pine’s birthday.
Rachel is a former prize winner at the Bach, Szigeti, Kreisler, Montreal, Paganini and Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competitions.
Her interests extend well beyond classical to include baroque, Celtic, rock and jazz.
