Violinist Tasmin Little Awarded BBC Music Magazine’s ‘Personality of the Year’

Violinist Tasmin Little has been awarded BBC Music Magazine's 2019 'Personality of the Year' accolade

It has been announced this week that British violinist Tasmin Little has been awarded BBC Music Magazine’s 2019 Personality of the Year accolade – in recognition of her significant contribution to classical music over the course of her career.

A graduate of the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Guildhall School of Music, the 53-year-old violinist announced in January of this year her intension to retire from the concert stage at the end of the 2019-2020 season.

Throughout her 30+ year career, Tasmin has given more than 2,000 performances – including 20 appearances at London’s BBC Proms Festival and almost 50 recordings.
