The Vienna University of Music and Arts has this week announced the appointment of American violist Jennifer Stumm to its teaching faculty - effective from the commencement of the 2018/2019 academic year.
A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music and The Juilliard School, Jennifer is a former 1st prize winner at the Primrose International Viola Competition and the Concert Artist Guild International Auditions - and she currently holds a Guest Professorship at London's Royal College of Music.
"I’m thrilled to be joining such a forward-thinking institution ... with a huge string-playing tradition in one of the world’s great musical cities ..." Jennifer has told the Violin Channel.
"My musical life is truly international, across multiple continents, and I was especially keen to establish a class at an institution that would embrace that ..." she has said.
