Lindsay Quartet Violinist Peter Cropper Has Died – Aged 69

British violinist Peter Cropper has passed away – aged 69.

He served as 1st violinist with the acclaimed Lindsay String Quartet from 1965 until the ensemble's retirement in 2005, and was the founding Artistic Director of the 'Music in the Round' – a charitable organisation established in the 1980's to promote chamber music in the United Kingdom.
