Opera Australia Announce New $2 Tickets for Under 30s
Opera Australia has today announced they will offer $2 tickets to their upcoming production of Rossini’s ‘The Barber of Seville’ - for audience members under the age of 30.
The season, directed by Elijah Moshinsky and conducted by Andrea Molina and Anthony Legge, will run from January 28th to March 22nd - at the Sydney Opera House.
The 200 cent tickets will go on sale on Friday, 19th February from 9am at the Opera Australia Sydney box office, in Surry Hills.
The opera company will also donate $18.16 to the Leukaemia Foundation for any full price tickets purchased via the charity’s website.
“There will be 200 200 cent tickets available in total”, a spokesperson for OA has indicated.
The $2 tickets will be cash only and proof of age will be requested.
