Randall Goosby Signs onto Joint Global General Management

The 24-year-old American violinist will join Primo Artists' and HarrisonParrott's rosters for Joint General Management — effective immediately

In 2020, Goosby signed exclusively to Decca Classics for the release of his debut album, "Roots," a celebration of African-American music. The disc is to be released tomorrow, June 25.

A student at The Juilliard School, Goosby is a protégé of Catherine Cho and Itzhak Perlman — and a recipient of the Sphinx Organization's Isaac Stern Award.

He was also a first prize winner at the 2018 Young Concert Artists International Audition and more recently performed at the 43rd Kennedy Center Honors ceremony. He has performed with orchestras such as the New York Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra, Nashville Symphony, and the New World Symphony.

"Randall Goosby has a winning combination of exquisite tone, intense sound and transcendental playing coupled with a deep commitment and pioneering spirit to engage new audiences," Charlotte Lee, Founder of Primo Artists. "He is a true 21st-century artist. I am delighted to welcome Randall to the Primo Artists family as the first addition to our violin roster. We eagerly look forward to working with Randall, the team at Decca Classics, and our colleagues at HarrisonParrott in this joint general management partnership."

"I am truly honored to be joining forces with Primo Artists and HarrisonParrott for joint general management, and humbled to be part of such esteemed and storied artist rosters," Goosby commented. "I feel so blessed to have their support in realizing my dreams and aspirations, not only for myself, but also for the culture of classical music. I am full of excitement for what the future holds, and cannot wait to embark on this new chapter with such dedicated and experienced creative partners."

Goosby’s General Management will be shared evenly by Charlotte Lee of Primo Artists and Lydia Connolly/Katie Cardell-Oliver of HarrisonParrott. HarrisonParrott will handle Europe, Asia, and Australasia while Primo Artists will handle North/South America. The agencies will work jointly with the artist on all career development strategies and decisions.
