Academy of Music in Liechtenstein to Stream Student Concert Series on The Violin Channel

Starting October 7, The Violin Channel will present a series of student concerts of the Academy's renowned faculty

The Violin Channel is excited to announce a new streaming series with the Musikakademie in Liechtenstein, one of Europe’s leading music education programs for emerging artists. On select Mondays at 1 PM (ET), audiences can watch an hour-long concert featuring the Academy's students from leading faculty.

"The main task of the Academy of Music in Liechtenstein is to serve as a top-tier talent incubator, exclusively aimed at the optimal artistic development of its students," Drazen Domjanic, founder and artistic director of the Academy of Music in Liechtenstein told The Violin Channel. "Its holistic educational approach places the personal development of young people aged 9 to 30 at the forefront, alongside individual instruction."

The series will start on Monday, October 7 at 1 PM (ET) with a concert by the talented students of cellists Thomas Grossenbacher and Ivan Monighetti.

Later in October, on Monday, October 21, tune in to watch the students of violinists Latica Honda Rosenberg and Ingolf Turban.

Based in Nendeln, Liechtenstein, the Musikakademie in Liechtenstein hosts several intensive weeks per year for violin, cello, and piano from September 2024 to May 2025. Now open for registration, the program offers individual lessons, chamber music coaching — plus classes on competition and audition preparation. In addition to the intensive coaching and ensemble training, the academy will also host a symposium from November 2–5, 2024. Aimed at preparing students for the challenges of everyday life as a musician, the event offers advice from selected experts. To learn more, click here.
