Accordionist Radu Ratoi Signs with CAMI Music
Ratoi will be managed jointly by CAMI and Young Concert Artists
The Moldovan accordionist Radu Ratoi has announced that he has signed with CAMI Music, in collaboration with Young Concert Artists (YCA).
One of the winners of YCA's 2024 Susan Wadsworth International Auditions, Ratoi is also the recipient of the Sonning Music Prize, Denmark's highest musical honor.
A graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Music, he has won some of the accordion world's most prestigious competitions — including the Coupe Mondiale and the Klinghenthal Accordion Competition.
He is known for his transcriptions of works by composers including J. S. Bach, Domenico Scarlatti, Rameau, Liszt, and more.
In 2022, he received the Moldavian National Distinction "Master in Arts," which was given to him by the President of the Republic of Moldova.
