A student of Professor Krzysztof Wegrzyn, at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, Alexandra is a former prize winner at the George Enescu, Tibor Varga, Kloster Schöntal, Ion Voicu and Henri Marteau International Violin Competitions – and was recently awarded joint 1st prize at the highly prestigious 2012 Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition, Hannover
Her recent debuts include performances at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Beethoven, Aix en Provence and Radio France Festivals – and coveted solo engagements with the Munich Chamber Orchestra, St Petersburg Radio Philharmonic and the NDR Symphony Orchestra
Alexandra currently performs on a 1735 Santo-Seraphin violin – on loan from the Deutsche Stiftung Musik leben
