Applications Closing for Colburn School Conservatory of Music
Applications for undergraduate and graduate degrees close on December 1, 2022
The Colburn School Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, California, offers all admitted students full-tuition scholarships and grants that cover housing and meals.
Prospective 2023 students can apply to get a Bachelor of Music (BM), Performance Diploma (PD), Master of Music in Performance (MM), Professional Studies Certificate (PSC), and Artist Diploma (AD).
Conservatory students are chosen based on the current instrumentation of the Colburn Orchestra and piano department.

Conservatory string faculty include esteemed artists such as violinists Martin Beaver and Robert Lipsett, violist Tatjana Masurenko, cellist Clive Greensmith, and double bassist Peter Lloyd. Other faculty members include pianist Fabio Bidini and conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen.
Noted alumni include violinists Simone Porter, Blake Pouliot, Nigel Armstrong, and William Hagen, and ensembles such as the Calder Quartet, Calidore String Quartet, and Viano String Quartet.
