Applications Open for 2022 Singapore International Violin Competition

Previous major prize winners include VC Artists Yu-Chien Benny Tseng, Richard Lin, and Sirena Huang

Applications are now open for the 2022 Singapore International Violin Competition to be held from January 16 to 28, 2022.

The 2022 jury will comprise Qian Zhou (Chair), Salvatore Accardo, Martin Beaver, Martin T:son Engstroem, Koichiro Harada, Barnabás Kelemen, Mihaela Martin, Petru Munteanu, Joel Smirnoff, and Tsu Vera Weiling.

Hosted by the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory and open to international violinists born after the 31st December 1990, the first prize winner will receive USD $50,000, a number of important performance engagements, and the loan of a fine Italian instrument.

Applications to be received by September 15, 2021.
