Applications Closing for the Benedetti Foundation’s Ambassador Cohort for 2024
Approximately 100 places are available on this UK-based professional development program for musicians aged 19-35
The Benedetti Foundation is currently receiving applications for its Ambassador cohort for 2024. Aimed at young professionals aged 19-35, the Ambassador program is a training initiative that aims to develop instrumental teaching and workshop leading skills, as well as growing the Ambassadors' love for performance. Applications must be received by November 30, 2023.
The program runs from February to December. Ambassadors will get the opportunity to participate in four focused projects covering topics such as lesson planning, online content creation, and the role of music in the community — as well as the opportunity to participate in practical in-person sessions on creative workshop leadership.
Each Ambassador is placed into a mentor group, which is led by a Tutor Mentor and a more experienced Lead Ambassador. Peer learning and support are central to the program, with Ambassadors working within their mentor groups and receiving crucial support and feedback from their peers.
There are around 100 places available on the program, and these are open to participants from both inside and outside the UK. To find out more about what you must prepare for the application, please see the Foundation's Ambassador Application Pack 2024.
Created in 2019 by the Scottish violinist and music education advocate Nicola Benedetti, the Benedetti Foundation aims to enrich the UK's music education scene by providing equal access to music participation and appreciation for all. It runs a number of programs, focusing particularly on large-group music-making.
