Applications Open for the 2025 London Benedetti Sessions
These inspiring July workshops are targeted at school-age string players, string teachers, and primary classes
Applications are now open for the London edition of the 2025 Benedetti Sessions, which will take place from July 12 to 13, 2025.
Aimed at school-age string players, string teachers, and primary classes, the Benedetti Sessions are run by the Benedetti Foundation and take place several times a year across the UK. The Foundation describes the workshops as "high-energy and high-inspiration," affording participants the opportunity to meet and work with some of the greatest music educators in the UK.
As part of the London Sessions, the three orchestras — Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced — will come together as a mass ensemble to work on a new arrangement for three string orchestras. Participants will also work on one piece in their individual orchestras and will receive music and tutorial videos in advance to help prepare.
There is also the opportunity to take part in an Introductory Orchestra, which will work on one piece written specially for them, as well as taking part in creative workshops throughout the day.
