Applications Open to the International Concerto Competition for the Blind and Visually Impaired

Presented by the Bella Music Foundation (for the Blind), applications will close on March 1, 2024

The Bella Music Foundation (BMF) is a nonprofit organization promoting inclusivity — its BMF Symphony Orchestra (BFMSO) International Concerto Competition for the Blind and Visually Impaired showcases the extraordinary abilities of blind and visually impaired musicians.

The competition is open to musicians of any nationality over the age of 31; previous BMF competitions winners under the age of 30 may also apply. 

Each of the three winners will receive a $1,000 USD cash prize, and the opportunity to perform a solo concerto with the BMFSO during the 2024 BMF International Music Festival for the Blind on April 28, 2024, at New Jersey’s Barrymore Film Center.

Finalists will be notified by email on March 8, 2024, at 1 PM EST. The final round virtual auditions will be held on March 15–16; winners will be announced on March 18.
